What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) Melbourne

Supported Independent Living (SIL) Melbourne is assistance or supervision with daily tasks to help you live as independently as possible with other people with disabilities or on your own. You will receive support with everyday tasks like cleaning, meal preparation, cooking, personal care and other day to day tasks.

Am I eligible for funding for SIL?

SIL is available to anyone aged 18 years and over. To determine if SIL is the best option for you, an NDIS planner/LAC will consider your goals, current situation, dreams, independent living skills, informal supports and other factors related to your support requirements.
